Honorable Mayor Hur Sung-moo from Changwon City, South Kyungsang Province invite Excellencies & Madames from the Seoul Diplomatic Corps. to its Famtour on Sep. 4th (Tuesday) on the occasion of the opening to celebrate the 52nd ISSF World Championship.

On Sep. 4th, Excellencies & Madames will be abel to watch shooting competitions of 4,000 players from 120 countries in the world including Jinhae Naval Port visit and last but not least Changwon city famtours etc.

The World Shooting Championship is the most prestigious competition among the championships governed by the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) and it takes place every four years. The championship includes competitions in all the events supervised by the ISSF and Olympic events. Most of the championships have taken place in Europe and Korea is the only Asian country to host this great competition- first, at the 42nd Seoul Championship in 1978 and second, at the 52nd Changwon Championship in 2018, according to Changwon City.

It stands for both “Dynamic Changwon” and “the speed of shooting” The colors blue, orange and green are used, which means hope, creation and balance, respectively. The colors are also representative of "Changwon" to highlight that the championship will be held here in Changwon.

The name "Aimy" is derived from the combination of the word 'Aim' and the Chinese letter '怡' which means 'To be pleased'. It is to support the challenge of participants in the upcoming Changwon Championship and to share the pleasure from their achievement. Aimy is designed from inspiration of the spaceman in the future, embodying the image of the advanced city "Changwon" for tourists.
