The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt hosted Egypt & Korea’s Cultural Exchange Fashion Show on last Thursday evening at the Embassy lobby in partnership with the International Diplomacy Culture Interchange, Hanbok Promotion Association.

Egypt & Korea’s Cultural Exchange Fashion Show consisted of two parts, that is, one was to showcase Korean Hanbok, and the other one wants to showcase Egypt fashion show while Hanbok Promotion Association seeks to harmonize the two culture’s tradition and history etc.

Culture, heritage, well-known ancient civilization and above all, the Pyramids, are enough to keep the name Egypt in everyone’s ears globally, according to the Embassy of Egypt. Most of the world-famous fashion weeks like Milan, London, Paris and others are also inspired by Ancient Egyptian styles in many ways.

Geographically Egypt is located in the extended Sahara Desert, and their fashion trends are ruled by the factor of comfortability. Clothes in feather weight fabrics, modest colors, patterns which go perfectly along with it and whatever may be the fashion trend, Egyptians always prefer comfortable clothing that is appropriate for the arid climate, said the Embassy of Egypt.
