-Accents a uniquely attractive business environment through an official reception

Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Mr. Etienne Schneider who serves as Minister of the Economy, Government of Luxembourg concurrently hosted an official reception in partnership with Luxembourg Korea Representative jointly to commemorate their delegation visit to South Korea which will run until July 18 as well as to welcome Korean partners at a downtown hotel Seoul on July 16th evening.

Touching upon open, reliable and dynamic, the specific features of Luxembourg, Representative Kim Yoon-hee from Luxembourg Trade and Investment Office in Seoul encouraged Korean investors’ investment into Luxembourg through her welcome remarks, naming a uniquely attractive business environment, a magnet for talent, an innovative leader in various business areas, a cross-border specialist, and last but not least a great place to work and live Luxembourg can offer.

South Korea and Luxembourg are strong trading partners and have much in common as pioneers of innovation and leaders in the high-tech and digital arenas. Both countries are excellent platforms for companies that are seeking to establish or intensify their business activities in Europe and South-East Asia, respectively. Luxembourg’s economic mission to South Korea offers a wide range of opportunities to meet key decision makers and make contacts with leading business representatives, said Luxembourg Trade and Investment Office in Seoul.

Calling all innvotive start-ups to its Luxembourg-KISED Start-up Day event on July 17 as well, Luxembourg Economic Mission is promoting that Luxembourg is an attractive start-up hub for entrepreneurs wanting to grow and penetrate the European market.

This event, which is held in association with the KISED, Korea’s Institute of Startups & Entrepreunership Development will present the Luxembourg start-up ecosystem, your gateway to Europe. During the event 8 Korean start-ups will have the opportunity to pitch their project in front of a jury. The winner will be announced after the networking drink, said Luxembourg Trade and Investment Office in Seoul.
