The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the Republic of Korea opened on Tuesday 26 March 2019 the exhibition "Features from Oman" in the exhibition hall of the Cheongycheon Gwanggyo gallary which is located in the center of Seoul. The exhibition displays more than 50 images that reflect the features of diverse natural beauty of Oman ranging from desert to sea to mountain beside the Majestic castles, beautiful landscape and rich heritage and culture as well as various tourist landmarks and natural beauty and features of the modern renaissance of Oman. The exhibition also highlights the geographical map of Oman’s strategic location, general information about Oman and some tourism brochures.

The opening ceremony was attended by a number of ambassadors and embassies representatives, distinguished officials from cultural associations including the president of Korea Heritage foundation, president of Korea image CICI, the president of Korea Tourism College and others.

HE Mohammed Al Harthy, Oman’s Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, said in his speech: "This exhibition is part of the public diplomacy program of the Embassy," Welcome to Oman” to introduce Oman history, culture and promote tourism and investment opportunities to our Korean friends. He added: "The idea of ​​holding the exhibition in the open public place of Cheoghychan gallery to allow the Korean public and visitors of Choenguchan to get to know Oman closely through the images and its beautiful views. The showroom is opened 24 hours in the most famous tourist attractions in Seoul. The Chairman of the Korean Heritage Foundation said in his speech, "Oman Photo Exibition features from Oman and the various information and pictures of the Sultanate of Oman will contribute to introducing the Sultanate of Oman to the Korean public and to further understanding and cooperation between the two sides". The exhibition will be from March 25 to March 31 at Chongychan gallary.
