In 1918, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Ukraine proclaimed their 

independence as the sovereign states.

On this occasion, three Embassies of the respective countries 

hosted a concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the 

national liberation with a title of “Two Violins Band” at the 

Small Theatre of Yongsan Art Hall Seoul on Feb. 21th evening.

The known pieces of Astor Piazzolla, Rodion Shchedrin, George 

Gershwin and Alfred Schnittke were interwoven with the 

charming melodies of Musa Mirzoyev and Mykhailo Verykivsky 

during about one & half hours.

Spain Amb. Gonzalo Ortiz, Zambia Amb. Wylbur Chisiya 

Simuusa, Romania Amb. Mihai Ciompec, Latvia Amb. Peteris 

Vaivars graced the concert with their spouses including envoys 

from host three countries Embassies.
