2018 will be an important milestone to commemorate
Czech Republic 100th year.
Such remarks were revealed by the speech of President Mr. Milan
Stech of the Senate, Czech Parliament who visited Seoul with his 50
members delegation in a diplomatic reception to welcome his
delegation as well as to mark Czech National Day 2017 held at the
Four Seasons Hotel on Oct. 30th evening.
In that regard, next year will be an opportunity for the Czech
Republic to serve as a good year to promote Czech Republic all
over the world including the Republic of Korea, he said.
Thanks to direct flights between Incheon and Praha, 400,000 Koreans
travelled Czech Republic last year, he touched upon people-to-people contact increases, adding Czech Republic is looking forward
for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games with great
anticipation to introduce Czech foods and to set up Czech Olympic House.
The visit of President Mr. Milan Stech of the Senate, Czech Parliament
with his delegation has a significant meaning to enforce the
cooperation of parliament diplomacy between the two countries
after The Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of
the Czech Republic Mr. Jan Hamáček attended the second meeting
of Speakers of Eurasian Countries’ Parliaments that took place in
Seoul on June 26-29, 2017, according to the Embassy of the Czech Republic.
Minister Kim Boo-kyum of the Interior and Safety who was on hand as capacity of
president, the Korea-Czech parliamentary Friendship Association,

his congratulatory remarks that the two nations would be able to
further cooperate in the 4.0 industrial era as well.
