-Ambassador Bruno Figueroa expresses his appreciation to all the Mexicans
Mexicans in Korea join forces with restaurants Vatos and El Pino 323.
Together, they will participate in the Itaewon Festival on October 14 and
15 to raise funds.
The associations of Mexican Residents in Korea and Mexican Students in
South Korea and the Embassy of Mexico are joining forces with the
popular local restaurants Vatos and El Pino 323 to support reconstruction
initiatives in Mexico following the earthquakes of last September.
All of them will participate in the popular Itaewon Festival in Seoul, on
October 14 and 15, 2017. One of the booths in the food section, will
offer typical Mexican dishes with the goal of donating 100% of the
funds raised to reconstruction projects in Mexico.
Ambassador Bruno Figueroa expressed his appreciation to all the
Mexicans who have contributed with their work and efforts to
materialize this initiative and recognized the contribution of the
entrepreneurs Kenny Park and Chef D of the popular restaurants
Vatos and El Pino 323, respectively. Likewise, Ambassador Figueroa
acknowledged the support of the Yongsan District to obtain the booth
for the aforementioned purpose.
The public is cordially invited to taste traditional Mexican dishes and
support this noble cause.
In the coming days, the Embassy will report on other activities being
planned by the Mexican community to continue the fundraising.
