“All 5 Central American countries fully supports the denuclearization policy of the Korean Government on the peninsular”
Korea got an allied army to tackle with North Korea’s nuclear weapons & missile provocation launching etc. by the 196th
anniversary ceremony of five Central American countries’ Independence Day.
5 countries’ ambassadors of the Republics of Costa Rica, H.E. Rodolfo
Solano Quiros, El Salvador H.E. Milton Alcides Magana Herrera, Guatemala
H.E. Herbert Estuardo Meneses Coronado, Nicargua H.E. Edgardo Cuarezma
Garcia and last but not leat Charge d’Affaires a.i. of Honduras Ms. Karla Waleska Macoto Morales marked their
5 countries’ 196 th anniversary of their independence day with a reception
which was held in Atrium 3rd floor, Millennium Seoul Hilton on Sep. 20th evening.
On behalf of all 4 envoys, El Salvador Amb. Herrera strongly said: “All 5
Central American countries fully supports the denuclearization policy of
the Korean Government on the peninsular”, adding bilateral counterparts
share valuable values and standpoints such as democracy, human rights
respect etc. Deputy minister Lee Jeong-kyu who was on hand on behalf of the Korean Government from MOFAT,
also asked for 5 Central American Countries too to take part in the
sanctions toward North Korea which makes it its business to provocations
with recent nuclear missile launchings, adding it is very disappoinging
for the South Korean Government.
SICA(Central American Integration System) & Korea have been held twelve
times’ vice ministerial meeting so far to coordinate pending issues such
as health problem, education, SOC, public safety etc. to name just a few.
Herrera emphasized through his speech that all 5 Central American
Countries intend to strengthen dynamic human exchanges in the fields
of academic & education fields between the two counterparts.
5 Central American Countries whose GDP reaches to 225.1 billion dollars
with the total population of approximately 47 million, inked FTA with Korea
to expand their investment and trade.
